Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en el municipio de Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho, con el objetivo de determinar si es factible la creación de una planta purificadora de agua, para ello se realizó una investigación de enfoque mixto para abordar aspectos cuantitativos y cualitativos, también, se realizaron los estudios de mercado, técnico y financiero, que son la clave para determinar la factibilidad del presente proyecto. En el estudio se determinó una estructura de capital de 60% financiamiento y 40% fondos propios. La viabilidad de establecer una planta purificadora de agua en el Municipio de Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho se confirma mediante los siguientes indicadores financieros: una Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) de 38.15%, un Valor Presente Neto (VPN) de L 1,371,636.21 y una Razón de Costo Beneficio de 0.77. Se determina que la planta pueda producir 49,920 botellones el primer año, necesitando una inversión inicial de L 1,304,146.62 proyectándose un tiempo de recuperación de 3.08 años. Concluyendo que la instalación de una planta purificadora de agua en Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho, es factible desde el punto de vista financiero con una Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) superior al 15%, lo cual es considerado significativo para la inversión.
This research work was developed in the municipality of Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho, with the objective of determining whether the creation of a water purification plant is feasible, for this, a mixed approach research was carried out to address quantitative and qualitative aspects, also, market, technical and financial studies were carried out, which are the key to determining the feasibility of this project. The study determined a capital structure of 60% financing and 40% equity. The feasibility of establishing a water purification plant in the Municipality of Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho is confirmed by the following financial indicators: an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 38.15%, a Net Present Value (NPV) of L 1,371,636.21 and a Cost Benefit Ratio of 0.77. It is determined that the plant can produce 49,920 bottles in the first year, requiring an initial investment of L 1,304,146.62, with a projected payback period of 3.08 years. It is concluded that the installation of a water purification plant in Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho, is financially feasible with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) greater than 15%, which is considered significant for the investment.
