Abstract
El propósito de este estudio es proponer una mejora continua en el proceso de mantenimiento
preventivo de maquinaria en Cosmética Internacional SA Tegucigalpa, Honduras 2024. En la
actualidad, se han identificado averías y fallas en los equipos que causan paradas no planificadas
de producción, lo que afecta la productividad y eficiencia de la empresa y aumenta los costos de
mantenimiento. La investigación realizada tiene un enfoque cuantitativo de alcance descriptivo y
diseño transversal no experimental; la población estuvo constituida por 16 colaboradores de los
departamentos de mantenimiento, bodega, producción y administración. El instrumento para
recopilar la información fueron dos encuestas de 15 preguntas cada una, la primera fue orientada
a los operarios de mantenimiento y la segunda a los tres departamentos restantes. De acuerdo con
los resultados obtenidos se recomienda aplicar tres modelos de mejora que permitan optimizar las
funciones. La primera fue la jerarquización de equipos mediante el análisis de criticidad, en
segundo lugar, una definición de stock de repuestos aplicando el análisis 80/20 y por último se
propusieron tres indicadores para la medición de la gestión del departamento de mantenimiento.
Para poder implementar estas mejoras se elaboran formatos para la revisión de maquinaria, así
como el diseño de manuales de operación y especificación del mantenimiento para cada tipo de
máquina.
The purpose of this study is to propose a continuous improvement in the preventive maintenance process of machinery at Cosmetic International S.A. Tegucigalpa, Honduras 2024. Currently, breakdowns and failures in equipment have been identified that cause unplanned production stops, which affects the productivity and efficiency of the company and increases maintenance costs. The research carried out has a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope and non-experimental cross-sectional design; The population was made up of 16 employees from the maintenance, warehouse, production and administration departments. The instrument to collect the information was two surveys of 15 questions each, the first was aimed at maintenance operators and the second at the three remaining departments. According to the results obtained, it is recommended to apply three improvement models that allow the functions to be optimized. The first was the hierarchization of equipment through criticality analysis, secondly, a definition of spare parts stock applying the 80/20 analysis and finally three indicators were proposed for measuring the management of the maintenance department. In order to implement these improvements, formats are prepared for the review of machinery, as well as the design of operation manuals and maintenance specifications for each type of machine
