Abstract
Este estudio propone una propuesta de mejora en el análisis de datos basada en Inteligencia de Negocios (BI) para el Laboratorio Asofarma en Honduras, con el objetivo de mejorar su posicionamiento y rentabilidad en 2024. Empleando un enfoque mixto que integra métodos cualitativos, como entrevistas, y cuantitativos, mediante encuestas, con un alcance descriptivo y diseño no experimental busca comprender las necesidades y perspectivas de clientes y actores clave. Según los resultados, el 60.6% considera que los estudios de mercado son la principal fuente de información para el diseño de estrategias comerciales. Durante la implementación, el 75.8% destaca el aumento de las ventas como el principal impacto en crecimiento. Se subraya como recomendación el papel crucial de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la interpretación eficiente de datos, esperando impulsar el crecimiento de las ventas al proporcionar información relevante y oportuna. Este enfoque innovador concluye y resalta la importancia de una gestión informada para la toma de decisiones gerenciales en el sector farmacéutico, ofreciendo una visión sobre cómo utilizar la información para mejorar la rentabilidad y competitividad en un entorno empresarial en constante evolución.
This study proposes an improvement in data analysis based on Business Intelligence (BI) for Asofarma Laboratory in Honduras, aiming to enhance its positioning and profitability in 2024. Employing a mixed approach that integrates qualitative methods, such as interviews, and quantitative methods, through surveys, with a descriptive scope and non-experimental design, it seeks to understand the needs and perspectives of clients and key stakeholders. According to the findings, 60.6% consider market studies as the main source of information for designing commercial strategies. During implementation, 75.8% highlight sales growth as the primary impact. The crucial role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in efficiently interpreting data is emphasized as a recommendation, with the expectation of boosting sales growth by providing relevant and timely information. This innovative approach concludes and underscores the importance of informed management for managerial decision-making in the pharmaceutical sector, providing insight into how to utilize information to enhance profitability and competitiveness in an ever-evolving business environment.
