Abstract
Esta investigación se ha realizado con la finalidad de determinar la prefactibilidad y
viabilidad del proyecto a través de los estudios de mercado, técnico y financiero para la creación
de un restaurante dedicado a la venta de comida rápida en el municipio de Gualaco, Olancho. El
proyecto nace en razón de la identificación de oportunidad de negocio debido a la carencia de
restaurantes en el municipio y los que ya existen no se dan abasto para satisfacer la demanda en
horario de almuerzo y cena, el proyecto se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, un alcance
descriptivo y un diseño no experimental, para la recolección de los datos se empleó la técnica de
la encuesta a través de un instrumento tipo cuestionario, mismo que se aplicó a la población
muestra del municipio de Gualaco, mediante estos resultados, se determinó que en el municipio
existe una demanda de consumo de 21,950 platillos de comida rápida, asimismo se identificaron
los factores críticos de éxito para la apertura del restaurante desde el punto de vista técnico, y
finalmente, por medio del estudio financiero se determinó la viabilidad del proyecto, el cual resultó
que el proyecto sería capaz de generar una rentabilidad (TIR) del 24.97%, un VPN de L
125,964.50 y la inversión referencial resultó en L 310,548.10.
This research has been carried out with the purpose of determining the prefeasibility and viability of the project through market, technical and financial studies for the creation of a restaurant dedicated to the sale of fast food in the municipality of Gualaco, Olancho. The project was born due to the identification of a business opportunity due to the lack of restaurants in the municipality and those that already exist cannot meet the demand during lunch and dinner hours, the project was developed under a quantitative approach, a descriptive scope and a nonexperimental design, for data collection the survey technique was used through a questionnaire type instrument, which was applied to the sample population of the municipality of Gualaco, through these results, it was determined that in the municipality there is a consumption demand for 21,950 fast food dishes, the critical success factors for the opening of the restaurant were also identified from a technical point of view, and finally, through the financial study the viability of the project was determined. Which turned out that the project would capable of generating a profitability (IRR) of 24.97%, a NPV of L 125,964.50 and the reference investment resulted in L 310,548.10.
