Abstract
Ha sido seleccionado como título de investigación el estudio del sistema de gestión y
administración de inventarios de Laboratorios Clínicos LACM en los años 2022-2023, Choluteca,
definiendo como objetivo general analizar el modelo de gestión y administración de inventarios,
factores logísticos, rotación de inventarios e impacto financiero en Laboratorios LACM, en los
años 2022 y 2023, Choluteca. Respecto a la metodología seleccionada, se consideró pertinente
desarrollarla por medio de un enfoque mixto, alcance descriptivo y diseño no experimental,
transversal, además, las unidades de análisis corresponden al personal que labora en el
Departamento de compras y almacén, así como los datos financieros de la misma, estableciendo
como instrumento a emplear el cuestionario, empleando como técnicas la ficha y entrevista. Los
resultados de la investigación indicaron que la frecuencia de los pedidos depende de la demanda
del laboratorio, pero, esta puede ser semanal o mensual, por otro lado, la automatización de
procesos solamente se lleva a cabo en el procesamiento de muestras. En cuanto a la rotación de
inventarios, se encontró que para el año 2022 y 2023 fue de 59.79 veces y 60.79, respectivamente,
es decir, cada 6 y 5 días. Teniendo en cuenta los diferentes datos recolectados, se definió como
título de la propuesta modelo de gestión de inventario en base a los métodos ABC y EOQ para el
Laboratorio LACM, definiendo actividades, y, para cada una de estas, acciones, herramientas,
responsables y medidas de control, requiriendo de al menos 12 meses para su implementación, con
un presupuesto estimado de L. 1,294,000.
The study of the inventory management and administration system of Laboratories Clinics LACM in the years 2022-2023, Choluteca, has been selected as the research title, defining as general objective to analyze the inventory management and administration model, logistic factors, inventory turnover and financial impact in Laboratories LACM, in the years 2022 and 2023, Choluteca. Regarding the selected methodology, it was considered appropriate to develop it through a mixed approach, descriptive scope and non-experimental, cross-sectional design, in addition, the units of analysis correspond to the personnel working in the Purchasing and Warehouse Department, as well as the financial data of the same, establishing the questionnaire as the instrument to be used, employing the form and interview as techniques. The results of the research showed that the frequency of orders depends on the demand of the laboratory, but it can be weekly or monthly; on the other hand, the automation of processes is carried out only in the processing of samples. Regarding the inventory turnover, it was found that for the years 2022 and 2023 it will be 59.79 and 60.79 times, respectively, i.e. every 6 and 5 days. Taking into account the different data collected, an inventory management model based on the ABC and EOQ methods for the LACM laboratory was defined as the title of the proposal, defining activities and, for each of them, actions, tools, responsible parties and control measures, requiring at least 12 months for its implementation, with an estimated budget of L. 1,294,000.
