Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of the emotional and family environment on the language development of a four-year-old girl diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and simple motor delay, who is currently receiving care at the Child Stimulation Center (CEN). Through a qualitative approach and a single-case study design, the research aims to understand how affective interactions, parental attitudes, and the consistency between home and therapeutic intervention impact the acquisition of language. Direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and clinical record reviews will be used to identify emotional and family factors that either facilitate or limit communicative progress. As a final product, the study proposes the creation of a Family Emotional and Communicative Support Protocol, designed to guide both CEN staff and parents or caregivers, fostering active and empathetic participation in the child’s therapeutic process. The study seeks to provide an integrative perspective on emotion, family bonding, and language, offering practical tools for interdisciplinary intervention in child stimulation and early autism care contexts.
