This research aimed to analyze the need to implement a comprehensive well-being program focused on strengthening the mental health of the staff working at the Langue Health Center in Valle del Cauca. The study was developed using a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative techniques, which allowed for a broad and contextualized view of the emotional and work-related realities of the employees. The quantitative phase was conducted using a survey administered to a population of registered nurses, nurses, and administrative staff, while the qualitative phase utilized semistructured interviews with physicians. The results revealed the presence of work-related factors associated with stress, emotional exhaustion, and the risk of burnout syndrome, such as work overload, long hours, patient care pressure, and a lack of formal spaces for emotional support. A high level of interest and acceptance was identified among staff regarding the implementation of comprehensive well-being programs. The study concluded that integrating mental well-being strategies within the healthcare setting not only contributes to improving the quality of work life but also positively impacts the quality of care provided to the population, thus justifying the viability of the proposed approach.
