Abstract
The Final Graduation Project aimed to propose a project management model based on Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) adapted to the reality of the United Bible Societies (UBS), in order to strengthen their planning and execution capacity in a diverse global environment with limited resources. The main objective was to design a hybrid model that combined PMBOK® governance with the flexibility of DAD to improve the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of projects. Regarding the methodological process, an agile maturity assessment was carried out through surveys and internal analysis, strengths and weaknesses were identified, and a pilot model was built with progressive phases, incorporating the Scrum, Kanban and predictive approach methodologies and the Jira and Solomon technological tool. The analysis of results revealed an average agile maturity level of 2.87 on a scale of 1 to 5, showing an organizational culture open to change but needing reinforcement in its structure and use of technology; moreover, in 2023 the UBS reached 152 million people and translated the Scriptures into 106 new languages, including 15 sign languages. The conclusion was that the adoption of a contextualized DAD model makes it possible to optimize resources, improve coordination, and ensure the organization’s social and spiritual mission, with the recommendation of a progressive implementation through controlled pilots, flexible financing, and a catalog of agile practices.
