Abstract
The main objective of this research is to identify the factors that affect the rotation of finished goods inventory at ABC Honduras, in order to propose solutions that optimize its logistics management. Using a mixed-methods approach, both quantitative and qualitative techniques were applied, including surveys, interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the problem. The results show that reprocessing, prolonged storage, outdated technologies, and the lack of real-time inventory visibility are the main obstacles impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The study proposes two technological solutions: the implementation of Salesforce integrated with SAP to improve inventory traceability and visibility, and the adoption of RFID technology to automate inventory counting and control processes. Both proposals aim to reduce errors, improve product turnover, and enhance supply chain efficiency. The research concludes that modern management supported by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is essential to address current logistics challenges and strengthen the company’s competitiveness.
