Abstract
La presente tesis aborda la problemática existente referente a las pruebas psicométricas digitales
y la falta de software que las implemente y evalúe, a nivel de Centroamérica, y sobre todo en
Honduras. Con el auge de las implementaciones tecnológicas de soluciones manuales, a modo de
ahorrar tiempo y esfuerzo, la psicometría eventualmente fue abarcada, sin embargo, continúa
siendo una práctica con muchos puntos de mejora si se trata de su digitalización.
Se identificaron las debilidades de las pruebas psicométricas, las cuales principalmente se
relacionan con la falta de confianza en los sistemas que las gestionan, así como los puntos de
mejora sugeridos por los propios psicólogos, para estos programas informáticos. También se
descubrieron las limitaciones económicas y de requerimientos que afectan el uso y adopción del
software psicométrico, las cuales afectan las decisiones de adquisición de los gerentes.
Por último, se desarrolló un sistema informático, el cual contempla las inquietudes tanto de los
psicólogos, conocedores de la materia, como de los gerentes y encargados de la decisión de usar
o no programas de este tipo.
This thesis addresses the existing problem regarding digital psychometric tests and the lack of software that implements and evaluates them in Central America, especially in Honduras. With the rise of technological implementations of manual solutions, in order to save time and effort, psychometrics was eventually covered, however, it continues to be a practice with many points of improvement when it comes to its digitization. The weaknesses of psychometric tests were identified, which are mainly related to the lack of confidence in the systems that manage them, as well as the points of improvement suggested by the psychologists themselves, for these computer programs. The economic and requirements constraints affecting the use and adoption of psychometric software, which affect managers' acquisition decisions, were also discovered. Finally, a computer system was developed, which addresses the concerns of both psychologists, who are knowledgeable in the field, and managers and decision-makers in the decision to use or not to use this type of software.
