Abstract
Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo diseñar una propuesta de estructura organizacional y un manual de puestos basado en competencias para la ONG Rare en Honduras, con el propósito de optimizar la gestión del talento humano y mejorar el rendimiento y cumplimiento de objetivos. La finalidad de la investigación era alinear las funciones, responsabilidades y competencias de cada puesto de trabajo basado en un enfoque centrado en las personas. La metodología utilizada fue cualitativa ya que, se aplicaron entrevistas estructuras utilizando un formato de análisis de puestos, además de un modelo de competencias de Martha Alles como base para la construcción de descriptores de puesto y un diccionario de competencias. Entre los resultados obtenidos se identificó la ausencia de herramientas para definir funciones generando de esta forma confusión, duplicidad en tareas e inconvenientes en los procesos de reclutamiento y selección. Se concluyó que la implementación de una estructura organizacional clara y un manual de puestos dará la oportunidad de mejorar la eficiencia operativa y la claridad de roles. Se recomienda institucionalizar los instrumentos a utilizar y revisarlos de manera periódica con el fin de asegurar la vigencia y efectividad.
This study aimed to design a proposed organizational structure and a competency-based job manual for the NGO Rare in Honduras, with the goal of optimizing human talent management and improving performance and goal achievement. The purpose of the research was to align the functions, responsibilities, and competencies of each position based on a people-centered approach. The methodology used was qualitative, using structured interviews using a job analysis format, in addition to Martha Alles' competency model as the basis for constructing job descriptors and a competency dictionary. Among the results obtained, the lack of tools for defining functions was identified, thus generating confusion, duplication of tasks, and inconveniences in the recruitment and selection processes. It was concluded that the implementation of a clear organizational structure and a job manual will provide the opportunity to improve operational efficiency and role clarity. It is recommended that the instruments used be institutionalized and reviewed periodically to ensure their validity and effectiveness.
