Philosophical Perspective on the Pandemic Crisis and the War in Ukraine

dc.descriptionINTRODUCTION. The world is currently going through two great historical moments: the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, progressively attenuated by the health systems, and the development of the war between Russia and Ukraine, which has been going on for more than a year and is creating tensions between East and West, which has had an impact on global economies. In this regard, some philosophers have put forward positions on these situations, which will be briefly addressed. METHODS: a documentary and news content analysis was carried out to identify these positions. CONCLUSION: the approach to the subject evidenced from the authors' perspective that humanity shows a resilient posture in the face of events that mark history. DISCUSSION, it may be observed that, although pandemics and war cause uncertainty, mutual collaboration between countries shows that vicissitudes cannot bend the human spirit.en-US
dc.descriptionINTRODUCCIÓN. El mundo cruza actualmente por dos grandes momentos históricos: el final de la pandemia de COVID-19, progresivamente atenuada por los sistemas sanitarios; y el desarrollo de la guerra entre Rusia y Ucrania, que supera el año de haber iniciado y crea tensiones entre oriente y occidente; además, protagonizaron un impacto económico a nivel global. Al respecto, algunos filósofos han planteado posturas, las cuales serán brevemente abordadas. MÉTODO. Se realizó un análisis de contenido documental y de noticias para identificar dichas posturas y opiniones. DISCUSIÓN. Se puede observar que, aunque la pandemia y la guerra provocan incertidumbre, la colaboración mutua entre países dejan entrever que las vicisitudes no pueden doblegar el espíritu humano. CONCLUSIÓN. El abordaje del tema evidenció, desde la perspectiva de los autores, que la humanidad muestra una postura resiliente ante los sucesos que marcan la historia.es-ES
