The present investigation was developed through a mixed approach, with a descriptive scope, through the technique of database analysis and interviews with experts to examine in detail the causes of the historical evolution of the accounts receivable of the company BAT Honduras during the period 2018-2022. Currently BAT Honduras is dedicated to the sale and distribution of cigarettes throughout Honduras, however, delinquency and bad debts have increased, this due to various factors in the granting of credit, the crisis left by the covid19 pandemic, and the lack of follow-up in collection management, reflecting an increase in delinquency levels and therefore an increase in uncollectible accounts. | es_ES |
